|Offering bed and breakfast, lunches and evening meals, we’re open all day, every day and extend a hearty Yorkshire welcome to residents and visitors popping in for a meal.
Based at the foot Roseberry Topping, The King’s Head Inn is on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and is the perfect spot to start your exploration of the surrounding countryside. Whether you’re after an active break and plan to make the most of the many walking and cycling paths just on our doorstep, or you prefer a more relaxing holiday, we can guarantee a comfortable, good value stay.
What is now The King’s Head Inn, Newton under Roseberry, was once two adjoining 17th Century cottages. Although the original structure remains in place, there is nothing old fashioned about the facilities we provide when you stay with us. We know a comfortable bed is a major priority, along with en-suite facilities and the little extras that make the room your own, from tea and coffee making equipment to free wi-fi.
Because we’re based in an easily accessible location, we’re also a popular spot for businesses looking for a great venue for meetings and events. We can ensure your corporate day runs smoothly, with our large meeting room, lots of car parking and catering for your event. The spacious hotel means we can accommodate your team overnight too.
The King’s Head Inn, Newton under Roseberry, is easy to reach from the main centres in the North East and from North Yorkshire.
If you’re visiting us for pleasure, you’ll also discover some of the delights of North Yorkshire just on your doorstep. We’re close to the coast and must-see spots such as Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay, as well as the water sports and leisure facilities offered in the Tees Valley. Captain Cook Country and Heartbeat Country are just a short drive away.
